this is what remains of the wood cabin at powerhouse rapid. looks like professional arson to me! ;)

two things. notice the log in the usual low water route through upper powerhouse rapid. notice that the wooden structure and the machinery along the river bank are gone.

the machinery that was once along the river bank in the wooden structure at powerhouse rapid has been moved up onto the bank well above the river.

we launched at 11:45am and arrived at sheepeater camp at 4:00pm. 10k people float this river each year but few of them see these colors.
